Hovora exists because property paperwork outlives memory.
Hovora is simple property management software for landlords and property owners. It keeps what matters about each place in one record — the documents, the jobs, the spending, the dates — and reminds you before a date passes rather than after.
Hovora at a glance
- What it is
- Simple property management software for landlords and property owners.
- Who it is for
- Small, self-managing landlords and owners with between 1 and 20 properties.
- What it keeps
- Properties, tasks, recurring tasks, reminders, documents, maintenance, expenses and analytics — organised by property.
- Where it runs
- In a web browser, on a computer or a phone. Reminders arrive by email, browser push, or both.
- What it costs
- Free for 1 property. Personal is $5 a month for up to 5 properties, and Pro is $20 a month for up to 20.
- Where it stands
- In beta. An independent, early-stage product.
The problem it solves
Insurance lapses. A warranty expires two weeks before the boiler dies. A lease auto-renews at the old rate. None of it is complicated — it is spread across an inbox, a shared drive, and a memory that had other things to hold.
Looking after a property is mostly a matter of dates and paperwork, and the expensive mistakes are the dates nobody was watching. Hovora puts each property’s tasks, documents, maintenance history and expenses in one place, and sends a reminder while there is still time to act.
Who it is for
Small, self-managing landlords: people who own between one and twenty properties and look after them themselves. A single flat let to a tenant, a holiday place in another country, a handful of units accumulated over years. Not letting agents, and not portfolio managers — those need software this deliberately is not.
Why Hovora suits small landlordsManaging a property remotely
What it deliberately is not
- A tenant portal. Hovora is for the owner, not the occupant.
- Rent collection or payments. Your bank already does that.
- An accounting ledger. Expenses are a record, not a chart of accounts.
- A marketplace, a listing site, or a contractor network.
Every one of those is a real product someone needs. Building them would make Hovora worse at the one thing it is for.
Where it is today
Hovora is in beta. The product works — properties, tasks, recurring maintenance, reminders, documents, expenses and analytics are all built and in use. Paid plans are arranged by hand rather than through a checkout, because a payment provider is not wired up yet and pretending otherwise would be the wrong kind of shortcut.
Being early means the roadmap is still shaped by the people using it. If something is missing or wrong, writing to [email protected] reaches a person.
